This is a co-learning workshop hosted by Not Just a Collective and facilitated by Lu Lin and Femke Kersten. Its aim is to utilize collective mapping as an approach to foster knowledge sharing and envision cohabitation in self-publishing. The workshop is derived from the zine ‘Survival Manual for Self-Publishers in NL’, which assembles scattered resources in the realm of self-publishing and unfolds the possibilities of engaging in self-publishing collectively.
Throughout the workshop, we will delve into questions such as "What is publishing?" "How can we enrich the realm of publishing?" and "In what ways can we co-exist as self-publishers?" Through group discussions and activities, the workshop intends to redefine publishing practices and formulate a practical framework for self-publishers. In addition to the collaborative learning experience, the outcomes of the workshop will also contribute to the second edition of the zine.
